Once you reach a certain age ( and of course fall to the ” men over 40 ” bracket ) , the diet becomes less easy . What worked in our younger years – always with the assumption that we need to diet at all , just maybe not skip breakfast – it seems not even remotely effective . What can you do to get rid of that beer belly is not so beautiful and man boobs ?
Make a food diary for a few days
It may be boring , but it’s pretty easy .
And – as long as you are honest with yourself and not calm ” forget ” to write down all the crisps and chocolate and cans of pop and other drinks quickly – probably the easiest place to find where you can reduce the calories and almost no notice .
Once you write down all that you really have eaten in the last two days , it’s time to check it out .
Most people who do this are one or two things that they almost jump off the page .
Maybe two or three teaspoons of sugar in every cup of tea or coffee .
Can ‘ ” important ” chocolate or cream cake ( or both ) .
Or it could be that all the super -sized portions to an absolute minimum .
And this is the starting point . Because it is quite easy to change the size of some parts or you eat or reducing the intake of other things like sugar or take one less drink after work or whatever .
Look for calorie ” wrong “
This can be empty calories like those found in beer and other alcoholic beverages .
Or they could have hidden sugars – read about all the words on the label that manufacturers use to disguise just how sneaky sugar added . Sugar , fructose , sucrose , dextrose , corn syrup , etc , etc , etc.
And when it comes to sugar do not think that switching to diet drinks work . Our bodies do not have a clue about what saccharin or other artificial sweeteners so that we react as if they were real sugar . With consequences that are not really conducive to our health .
Fat is not necessarily bad – it depends on which study you read whether it is or not – but probably a good idea to reduce in your diet . What can be as simple as switching to lower -fat milk , do not add a lot of milk , do not pour in additional cream , use lean meat or even use a non – stick pan to reduce the amount of fat used for cooking .
If you are not overweight like crazy , making only a few things that can get you on your way to become a new , lighter , almost effortlessly .
If you are a few pounds heavier than you should , take a closer look at the serving size and the number of calories . Preferably before the doctor gives ultimatum .
